Christ United / Little Lighthouse Christmas Party!

Saturday morning Christ United held a Christmas party in honor and with the children of the Little Lighthouse. This is our local mission project and the donations were rolling in! Thank you to all who supported this precious school. We were able to also buy them a laminator!! As usual, the Children's Ministry team had a GREAT time and loved seeing the fun on the children's faces! The children made ornaments, hand painted a wreath, decorated cookies, made candy cane crafts, colored, had a game room, had a live Nativity and then all gathered together for an Instant Christmas Program ... which was a wonderful way to go over the Christmas Story and get every person participating in a part! It was a wonderful success!

The children from the Little Lighthouse will be there as well as a live Nativity scene with photo oppourtunity, cookie decorating, ornament making, games and so much more!! All Elementary and Preschool are encouraged to come and help support our local Mission!

WOW! What a wonderful performance. Thank you to the men who created this incredible tree and thank you to the children who were part of such an amazing night. You guys all did a great job. Thank you for letting us join you in the Christmas spirit last Wednesday night!

Family ADVENTure

The Children's Ministry helped kick off the Advent season with a fun Family ADVENTure! Wednesday night the Fellowship Hall was filled with families of all ages and sizes to share in a dinner, cookie swap, carol singing, BINGO games and then each family got to build a wooden manger scene to take home to enjoy throughout the Season! It was a wonderful experience and a great way to begin this Advent season remembering the reason for all of the Christmas excitement! Family Advent books were given out with family activities and devotions for each day in the Advent Season! Please go by the Children's Ministry if you would like to pick one up for you and your family.
